Auto Speedwatch Cameras

The Parish Council paid for AutoSpeedwatch cameras to be installed in Bainton and they have been operational for a few weeks – the cameras are operated by the Residents Traffic Calming Action Group.

The statistical data is being used to see if speeding reduces as a result. The local Police and Speedwatch Co-ordinators are hopefully getting more involved in assessing the information soon and, whilst it is very early days, the first month’s figures indicate a reduction in numbers speeding.
