Welcome to Bainton and Ashton Parish Council

We hope residents will find this web site informative and useful as a source of information for matters relevant to the operations of the local council and the running of the village.

Parish councils are not connected, as many think, to the church. They are the first tier of government providing local contact with residents and liaising with district and city councils.

The members of the council are elected to the Councillor positions and perform a valuable and important role in the running of villages and communities. Please contact the Clerk or Councillors if you have any question or issue you’d like to raise – new residents are very welcome to the villages and especially welcome to make contact.

The Bainton and Ashton communities have a village website with more photos and information for you to enjoy and benefit from.
